The Coimbatore Branch of Southern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India was established on 01.04.1962 with strength of 60 members. Today it is one of the vibrant Branches in India with 1066 Members.

The Branch Office is in the Second Floor of the Auditors Association Building at D. B. Road, R. S. Puram, Coimbatore – 2. The total area owned by the Branch is 2013.50 Sq. Ft. One floor of the Auditors Association of Southern India has been acquired for Lease which is approximately 3500 Sq. Ft.

The Branch organizes regular Seminars, Conferences, Meetings & Workshops for the benefit of Members and Students. The Branch has been accredited by the ICAI to conduct Oral Coaching Classes for CPT, PE-II & PCC. Recently a Computer Centre has also started functioning for the 100 hours IT Training for Students. Campus Interviews for the Newly qualified Chartered Accountants, General Management and Communication skills course for the newly qualified Chartered Accountants, ISA Practical Classes for Members are also the major activities of the Branch.

Central Council Members of ICAI, Members of the Regional Council, Government Officials, Officials from IT Department, Central Excise, Registrar of Companies have visited the Branch. The Branch has received all India Best Branch Award during the year 1997. Many members from Coimbatore have brought laurels to the Branch.
